Job descriptions

Assists with the receiving and handling of LED panels and spare parts, including identifying items and printing serial number and inventory labels using Brady Workstation software.

Participates in quality control of video and lighting products manufactured by subcontractors and ensures compliance with established standards.

Performs functional testing on various equipment, including NovaStar and Brompton processors, PixelHue switchers, as well as Cameo and ClayPaky lighting products.

Performs the various steps involved in LED panel quality control, including hanging and connecting panels, identifying defective pixels, and carrying out required mechanical and electronic corrections.

Participates in the calibration process for the various LED panel models sold by the company and performs parameter configuration and verification using specialized software such as NovaLCT, COEX VMP, ViPlex Express, and Tessera Remote.

Applies basic knowledge of colorimetry and the main color spaces used in the industry, including Rec.709, Rec.2020, and DCI-P3, as part of quality control and calibration activities.

Participates in preparing equipment for product demonstrations, training sessions, testing, or exhibitions, as well as assembling and dismantling equipment for local events.

Verifies electrical and electronic circuit connections in accordance with applicable standards and procedures and performs basic electrical and electronic assemblies.

Ensures that the department, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.

Contributes to maintaining a harmonious work environment and promotes effective collaboration with members of their department and other departments.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and rules, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Performs any other related duties necessary for the proper operation of the department.

Participates in installations and service requests, performs the necessary checks, and contributes to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Candidate Profile

Proven skills

Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems

Ability to perform testing, diagnostics, and quality control

Strong hands-on and technical skills

Comfortable using specialized configuration and calibration software (strong asset)

Rigor and attention to detail

A vocational diploma (DEP) or other professional training program in sound technology, audiovisual technology, or a related field is a strong asset.

Excellent spoken and written French.

Specific Requirement

Ability to accurately distinguish colors and chromatic variations required for video quality control and calibration.
