Building on the global success of the original Xtylos, Claypaky introduces Xtylos Aqua, the next evolution in laser-based moving heads. Designed from the ground up to endure the harshest conditions, Xtylos Aqua is IP66-rated and offers the same extraordinary features and performance as its predecessor, now built for the most demanding environments.

Claypaky’s Laser Variance Program, a dedicated online tool, enables effortless navigation through the entire variance acquisition process, guiding every step of the way and supporting in passing quick online tests after a short online training. On top of that, Claypaky supports filling out the FDA form and submitting it to the FDA office. Obtaining global compliance has never been more straightforward

As the first and only IP66-rated laser moving head on the market, Xtylos Aqua combines extraordinary color dynamics and laser precision with comprehensive weather protection. Its integrated fan eliminates condensation from the front lens, ensuring consistent output and beam performance in any condition. The wireless DMX system, integrated as standard, adds further flexibility for complex installations.

Xtylos Aqua is available with Marine Shield, Claypaky’s treatment engineered for cruise ships and coastal environments. Marine Shield extends the fixture’s resilience to the marine world, providing targeted protection against salt air and corrosion, so its full spectrum of vivid, saturated colors performs flawlessly on board, with no compromise in output or reliability over time. Whether illuminating cruise ship stages, outdoor decks, or seaside venues, Xtylos Aqua is a natural fit for marine installations.

Equipped with two gobo wheels (one rotating with seven gobos, one static with twelve), a prism wheel with three prisms, and a sixteen-facet prism on a dedicated channel, Xtylos Aqua gives designers a wide range of creative tools. Its beam aperture spans an extremely narrow 1° to 7°, reducible to 0.5° with beam reducers — perfect for razor-sharp aerial effects that captivate audiences indoors and out, from theater and television to touring, global sporting events, and beyond.
